Coronation Street’s Abi and Kevin Webster to be accused of plotting a car crash against Toyah Battersby and Imran Habeeb
IMRAN Habeeb is involved in a car crash with wife Toyah Battersby in upcoming scenes of Coronation Street.
Suspicions soon turn to Abi and Kevin Webster as teased by ITV soap star Sally Carman. But are they responsible?
Weatherfield is hit with another dramatic twist in new Corrie scenes.
After scheming his way into Alfie's life, Imran Habeeb (played by Charlie De Melo) is caught up with the truth and Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) is forced to get her head out of the sand.
But when his lies begin to unravel, the solicitor is involved in a horrifying car crash with his wife.
Sadly, this means more trouble is looming for Alfie's mother Abi and her husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).

With her fight for Alfie's custody still fresh in everyone's mind, Abi appears to have a motive to want to hurt the couple.
Matters are made worse when the police investigate why the vehicle didn't brake - and it's clear Kevin worked on the car before the harrowing journey.
As Kevin's guilt or innocence remains to be proved, actress Sally Carman told The Sun and other press her character will be the first to struggle to find an answer.
According to her, Abi "is really concerned" about how far Kevin was willing to go for her.

"It’s hard to have a rational brain about it", the actress said.
"She’s really concerned and worried about what Kevin did to the car."
Kevin has even more of a reason to make Imran pay for his scheming.
Abi has recently spoken to him about her plan to abduct Alfie and leave the country with him.
In a surprising gesture, and while he had every opportunity to grass on her, Kevin handed her an envelope full of cash, wishing her luck in her new life.
Kevin soon reveals his true intentions and tells Abi that, despite their ups and downs, he is willing to fight for her and Alfie.
Does that involve going the extra length and causing harm to the Habeebs?
Speaking of Abi's reaction to Kevin's feelings, Sally said that her character is in disbelief.
"That is like, ‘pinch yourself’ moment, she can’t quite believe it", Sally teased, "it’s so bittersweet."
"It’s really hard for her to accept proper love. She’s getting it because of Kevin’s persistence."
"She’s starting to believe this could last."
Could the mechanic's love for Abi have pushed him to commit a crime?
While her love for Kevin remains, Sally has underlined Abi's disappointment with Imran, a seemingly reliable and honest figure in the Street.
In the likes of many ITV viewers, Abi had no idea the solicitor could stoop so low in a bid to get Alfie, especially after he promised he would stop their baby from growing up in the system.
"She believed that he would fight with her. So when he shows his true colours, using her drug addiction against her, it’s gutting."
Abi's strongest feeling of all is, by far, her desire to do "what's best for her son" and is ultimately led by her heart.
"She's got a fire in her belly", Sally went on.
"She has a lot of love to give. Once she makes her mind up, that's it. She's thinking about what's best for her son."
Does this mean she'd be willing to cover up Kevin's supposed actions?
