Who won SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022?
THE seventh series of SAS: Who Dares Wins saw an all-female final for the first time in the show’s history.
Two out of the four finalists completed the course and were crowned winners after weeks of gruelling challenges on SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Who won SAS: Who Dares Wins?
Four women headed into the final – Shylla Duhaney, 33, Paige Zima, 26, Claire Aves, 36, and Cat Turnbull, 36.
But only two passed the course.
Chief Instructor Rudy Reyes gathered together the four finalists in the Jordanian desert to reveal that Shylla and Paige had both successfully completed SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The pair laughed in shock when Rudy told them to step forward as they had won.

Despite finishing the course fellow finalists Claire and Cat did not achieve a high enough standard to pass the course.
All four women were praised and called “machines” for their determination in the show.
Rudy said when announcing the winning pair: “What you need to pass this course is strength, grit, resilience and the spirit to drive on.
“You’ve all excelled, these men behind me and myself, we think two of you right now could fall in with us on operation and win the day.”
What happened in the Channel 4 show final?
After making it through brutal interrogations, the four women had to complete the Hang Tough challenge.
They had to use all their upper body strength to hang on to metal bars, which were 50 metres above the ground, for as long as possible.
Cat fell first, followed by Claire, while Shylla was the last woman standing – or hanging – holding on only moments longer than fellow winner Paige.
Rudy said: “Number eight step forward, 18 step forward, number eight number 18 congratulations, you have passed this course.”
He then said “job well done” and hugged them both.
The winning duo were congratulated by the other finalists and the crew.
Both women said they felt “amazing” for having won.
This came after Ant Middleton, former Chief Instructor, slammed the final for being too “woke” due to the first ever all female final in seven series of the show.
Ant was sacked after he shared his controversial views on the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
Will there be another series of SAS: Who Dares Wins?
There will be an eighth series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Channel 4 has already begun recruiting for the next series so you can test your own abilities.
Applications are open and you must be between 18 years old and 44 years and 364 days old before October 31, 2022.
To be considered for SAS: Who Dares Wins, the application form has a list of fitness tests you must complete:
- Full press ups – a minimum of 44 in two minutes.
- Full sit up – a minimum of 50 in two minutes.
- Static lift on to a platform 1.45m high. This is a progressive test, which will assess the maximum weight you can lift. This is not a pass or fail test.
- Jerry can test– carry two 20kg weights over a distance of 120m in two minutes.
- A Beep test with the level of 10.1 (covering a distance of 20m on each leg). (This is similar to a 1.5 mile run in 9 minutes 30 seconds, although we strongly advise you train in the beep test rather than a 1.5 mile run.)
