JAMES Argent looked slimmer than ever as he performed in front of 1,000 delighted women.

The 34-year-old, who has lost a whopping 13 stone, took to the stage with his band for the Angel Trust Ladies Day in County Durham last night.

And Arg clearly went down very well with the crowd as they could be seen screaming as he belted out hit after hit.

Looking smart, the former Towie star wore a black and white shirt and black jeans.

He could be seen grinning as the women mobbed him and a security guard had to step in at one point to hold back the crowd.

Arg underwent a life-saving gastric sleeve op last April in a bid to turn his life around.

He has kept fans updated with his progress and recently admitted that doctors had ordered him to put some weight back on.

He told The Sun back in February: "This is the first time in my life that I like the way I look too - I don’t feel ugly anymore - I’m content and happy with my appearance.

"The only problem now is I’ve lost a little bit too much weight and I need to put on half a stone,” he laughed.

“Everyone thinks it’s hilarious, we didn’t think we’d ever be in this situation but it’s one thing or another with me - that’s just me!”

He ballooned to 26st 13lb in 2020 after bingeing on junk food during the pandemic and had a £10,000 gastric sleeve operation last April after doctors warned him “lose weight or die.”
