JEOPARDY! fans have slammed Mayim Bialik once more for a "confusing" question Tuesday.

Now-3-day champ Ryan Long scored a HUGE comeback despite the host's "BS" moment.

Mayim, 46, is hosting Jeopardy! for a second week in a row, returning after Ken Jennings' prior three weeks at the helm and announcement he'd be out for "months."

This week it was also announced that Mayim will be hosting the primetime spinoff, Celebrity Jeopardy! in the fall.

The permanent hosting slot, however, is still on the board and will be decided by the end of Season 38 in July 2022.

And amid it all, fans could not believe how Mayim handled shocking one moment.

During the Double Jeopardy! round Tuesday, a category "Movie Title Before & After" involved combining two movie titles together.

Now-3-day champ Ryan, a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania rideshare driver buzzed in to answer one.

He responded: "What is: The Great Escape from Witch Mountain."

However, Mayim did not give him the $2000 and bluntly responded: "No."

Combining the two films The Great Escape, and Escape To Witch Mountain, Ryan was off by one word: he said "from" instead of "to."

After a few seconds of sheer silence - no one else answering - Mayim gave the desired response: "The Great Escape TO Witch Mountain," she emphasized and moved on.

'TWO-LETTER DIFFERENCE'

Fans were stunned the shut-down, especially since last week Mayim was accused of "assisting" a player by allowing a "technically incorrect" movie response that was much further off in wording.

"I call BS on that Witch Mountain question #jeopardy,"; one Twitter user blasted tonight.

Another wrote: "I was slowly becoming a @missmayim fan (and by fan I mean literally just started liking her tonight) but after that ding on Ryan tonight for a two-letter word mixup on that Great Escape answer… no no no."

Last week's similar clue was looking for the specific 2000's holiday film, "How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

The contestant simply responded "The Grinch" and Mayim, that time, rewarded the answer.

"Um it's definitely How the Grinch Stole Christmas. #jeopardy y'all wrong," one Twitter user wrote on the earlier game.

"How can we accept partial answers?!" bashed another.

Another critic fumed, "Acceptance of other answers is wildly inconsistent. Bring back @KenJennings."

Ryan seemed deflated as he continued through the movie-mashup category.

Though another user claimed the producers are choosing through an earpiece what answers are allowed, and one defended: "She’s professional ... extremely smart, and has a lovely smile and personality,” - the host also had a “painful” return last week.

Mayim had a Q&A banter blunder with a fellow scientist that fans called "rude", and three games had Double Jeopardy clues still on the board with time run out.

Mayim had another joke that flatlined before Ken returned for his recent stretch - she told a doctor he was "just an anesthesiologist, not a surgeon," seemingly still figuring out her bedside manner overall.

'THAT'S A BIG WAGER!'

Regardless, Ryan - who sweetly shared he once fostered "four baby kittens" and "bottle-fed them" with his mom then adopting them during his humble Q&A portion - wagered a massive $8000 during a Daily Double.

Fans went wild as he then clawed past the competition.

"That's a big wager #Jeopardy," one fan wrote on the now 3-day winner with $70K total who could keep going.

"Ryan's $8,000 Daily Double was clutch," wrote another impressed viewer.

"Becoming a huge Ryan fan!" wrote a third on the contestant who pumped out an Arnold Schwarzenegger impression in the Q&A round during his first game last week.

HOSTING SLOT IN JEOPARDY

All this comes as the new Celebrity Jeopardy! is set to premiere along with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune as part of the schedule for 2022-2023.

In their reveal, ABC stated: “A host will be announced at a later date," however, interestingly enough,  shared in their announcement Mayim is set to host it.

Celebrity Jeopardy! first aired in 1992, and the last celebrity tournament took place in 2015 - it's set to air on Sundays.

Mayim's likely new gig comes as fans have started to speculate that Ken will still be named permanent host of the regularly airing Jeopardy!.

"Good - let Mayim host Celebrity Jeopardy and get Ken Jennings back on the nightly show," a Twitter hopeful wrote, as the gig wouldn't preclude Ken from hosting non-specials.

Mayim's other show, Fox's Call Me Kat, was just renewed for a Season 3 - Ken supporters also rushed to  over that announcement as she stars as the titular Kat in the multi-camera sitcom.

Some felt this was "the deciding factor," claiming Mayim will be "too busy" to do both - in fact, hundreds commented in agreement.

As one ripped: "Another good sign pointing towards Ken hosting the syndicated show full-time."

Ken - the 'Greatest of All Time' alum whose backers do include most recent streak-holder Mattea Roach - indeed shared earlier this month that he'd be "handing the keys back to Mayim for a few months" but clearly many hope he'll be back for good upon his return.

Ken and the Big Bang Theory star started filling in for the legendary host in 2021 after a fleet of celebrity guest hosts during Season 37.

Under Ken, the show's ratings nearly doubled to 9.7M viewers when he made his first appearance and hosted through contestant Amy Schneider's two-month winning streak.
