Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh’s BBC1 quiz show Take Off quietly axed
HOLLY Willoughby and Bradley Walsh’s presenting partnership has failed to land after their BBC1 Take Off show was quietly axed.
The pair starred on the wacky prime-time quiz, which saw audience members get the chance to win plane tickets to luxury holiday destinations, last summer.
The show was produced by Hungry Bear Media — owned by Holly’s husband Dan Baldwin — but was panned by viewers.
A source said: “Take Off was filmed before the pandemic when travel was much easier.
"Now, it’s more difficult with so many restrictions. It didn’t land with viewers who were grounded.
"However, Holly and Bradley loved working together and had amazing on-screen chemistry.”
Last summer, Bradley, 61, who fronts ITV quiz fave The Chase, admitted: “If I am brutally honest I do not know the rules of the game.
"I leave that to Holly —- she is the nuts and bolts of it all. Holly is brilliant at that stuff.”

Meanwhile, This Morning host Holly, 41, has also recently fronted ITV’s The Games, alongside Freddie Flintoff, 44, and BBC1’s Freeze the Fear With Wim Hof, with comedian Lee Mack, 53.
A source added: “Holly is enjoying trying different projects.”
Bradley also produces ITV’s The Larkins series. The BBC did not comment.
