Many viewers raised concerns that they can’t see the questions to play along with at home.

Others shared that the questions and answers were "way too small" for viewers to see at home.

Some also took issue with the show switching to the contestants too quickly.

As a result, dozens of viewers flocked to Twitter to air their thoughts, with some even claiming to have switched off.

Alongside an array of angry faced emojis, one person penned: "Anyone watching The 1% Club and thinking why they can’t make the questions bigger so it’s easier to read?"

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "How on earth are we meant to play along at home if we can’t read the questions?"

While a third added: "Why they can’t make the questions bigger so it’s easier to read? Only 1 per cent of people can see some of those questions."

The show’s format sees 100 contestants begin every show but to make it to the end and win the top prize of up to £100,000.

Contestants must correctly answer a question only 1 per cent of the country would get right.

Last month, ITV bosses revealed the new game show is to return for a second series.

"Delighted to be back," funny man Lee shared when talking about the show.

"Once again, I have been trusted to correctly give away up to one hundred thousand pounds with no mistakes. Good luck ITV."
