STACEY Solomon's famous friend and army of fans have rallied round after she made her Bake Off debut.
The Loose Women star, 32, has landed a presenting gig on Channel 4's new series of Bake Off: The Professionals.
Stacey has taken over from Tom Allen and is now co-hosting the GBBO spin-off show with Liam Charles.
But within minutes of making her first appearance, cruel trolls came out of the woodwork and began slating her.
This is despite Stacey making a funny quip about eating all the cakes, before going on to kindly comfort a contestant after his showstopper collapsed.
One mean viewer tweeted: "How to ruin a great show .... bring on Stacey Solomon."

Another cruelly chimed in: "Oh f*** off Stacey Solomon I used to enjoy bake off the professionals."
And a third ranted: "No no no what have you done i can't watch this with stacey to me her voice is like nails on a chalkboard #ruined."
But Stacey's huge army of backers were quick to defend the mum-of-four, especially as she had admitted to being nervous before the show aired.
One shot back: "Well, Stacey can stay. She's a sweetheart. Lovely to see #GBBO back!"

Another added: "Stacey Solomon makes any show ten times better!"
And in a plea to show bosses, one even asked: "Please can Stacey Solomon replace Matt Lucas on the main show?"
Stacey's best friend, cleaning queen Mrs Hinch - aka Sophie Hinchliffe - also showed her 4.5million followers which team she was on.
Posting on Instagram, Sophie shared a touching picture of herself holding hands with Stacey while watching a clip of the baking show in the back of a car.
She wrote: "Bake of time. Proud." Sophie also added a little white heart.
