CORONATION Street’s Lucy Fallon shared a cute snap with a baby after sparking rumours she and Ryan Ledson are engaged.

The soap star - who played Bethany Platt in the ITV soap - posted the adorable pic on her Instagram story.

In the sweet picture, Lucy can be seen holding her hand out with a little hand placed on top of hers.

Lucy captioned the post with a heart face emoji.

The ITV star's fans were sent into overdrive earlier this week when she shared a series of snaps that showed her and footballer boyfriend Ryan, 24, having dinner on the beach on holiday in the Maldives.

Her followers were quick to speculate he'd got down on one knee.

Many thought the location was the perfect opportunity for Ryan to ask her to be his wife.

One wrote in the comments section: "That's a proposal setup though."

Another said: "I was expecting a proposal."

And a third added: "I see what's coming."

Lucy was also recently forced to deny having a 'secret pregnancy' after welcoming the latest member to her family.

It came after she posed with her newborn nephew Ezra in a picture shared to her Twitter account.

Lucy had to clarify that baby Ezra was not her own son, after fans flocked to congratulate her on the arrival.

Taking to Twitter, Lucy said: "Clarifying that this is my nephew and I've not just had a secret pregnancy for the last nine months."

Lucy and Ryan - who went official with their relationship in May 2021 - recently returned home from their holiday to the Maldives.

The Preston North End midfielder also whisked her away to Paris for her 26th birthday in November last year.

Lucy left Corrie after five years in 2020.
