COVID hero Ikenna Ekwonna was one of the original line-up of hopefuls for the 2022 Love Island series.
Sadly the Nottingham native was dumped from the famous villa in week three.
Who is Ikenna Ekwonna?
Ikenna is a pharmaceutical salesman, from Nottingham, who was working alongside vaccination company AstraZeneca during the pandemic.
Before the 23-year-old entered the Spanish villa he admitted that he was keen to find love after having only one girlfriend before applying for the show.
Asked what he would bring to Love Island, he said: "Hopefully, I’m going to bring spontaneity and excitement.
"I’m not really shy to speak to people and I don’t really care too much about what people think."
Sadly, it wasn't meant to be, and despite being coupled up with Indiyah Polack, he failed to find love in the villa.
He was dumped from the show after a viewer vote in week three.
On his exit, he told ITV: "I didn’t find romance but it was nice to be in the Villa, nice to have a pool in the heat, couldn’t really complain.
"Obviously short-lived but that’s cool though."
Is Ikenna Ekwonna on Instagram and TikTok?
Ikenna is on Instagram, and before going on Love Island he had five thousand followers.
Now, as of June 2022, he has whopping 77K followers.
