Multi-millionaire Molly Mae Hague is Love Island’s richest ever contestant as she rakes in £2m during pandemic
LOVE Island star Molly-Mae Hague is now the richest self-made series star.
A potent combination of "ordinariness" and "star quality" means the 23-year-old is worth about £6million.
Model and influencer MollyMae added £2million to her bank balance during the pandemic.
Accounts for the last financial year show she made £1.2million in profits at her company MMH Group Holdings and £902,674 from her self-tanning brand Filter.
She has proved a success since finishing runner-up on ITV with boyfriend Tommy Fury, 23, in 2019.
Branding expert Marcel Knobil reckoned: "Molly-Mae's fortunes have soared thanks to a combination of luck, looks and talent.
"She appeared on Love Island at a time when a huge UK audience was captivated by the series "She's attractive, she's stylish, has a commercial mind and communication skills.
"She has an exceptionally aspirational look, yet maintains a sense of ordinariness which allows many to feel that, they too, can embark on a similar journey.
"These qualities make Molly-Mae a hugely attractive person for brands to promote their products.
"Many companies know a product endorsed by Molly-Mae becomes a product sought after by many."

As well as her two companies, she is creative director at fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing where she gets a seven-figure salary.

We reported how Molly secured an undisclosed seven figure deal with PLT in August last year.
Her role requires her to oversee all upcoming campaigns and signings for the brand, as well as continuing with her own collections for them.
The TV star turned entrepreneur isn’t afraid to splash her cash, and recently purchased a £3.5million mansion in Cheshire with boyfriend Tommy.
They are renovating the six bedroom house, which Molly-Mae has been documenting on her Instagram.
