IS THAT YOU?

Can you guess who the Hollywood icon is looking totally unrecognisable on his latest film?

HOLLYWOOD star Tom Hanks looked completely unrecognisable with grey hair and a moustache for his latest film Pinocchio.

Tom, 65, plays the role of Geppetto, the village puppeteer who prays for one of his creations to become real.

The trailer starts with Geppetto sitting by the window before bed and wishing upon a star - recreating the iconic scene in the classic animated version.

He wishes his wooden toy will magically turn into a real life boy.

His character chants: "Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight."

Viewers get a glimpse at Geppetto at work in his studio as he puts the finishing touches to Pinocchio.

In the background a magical new version of When You Wish Upon A Star is played as the wish becomes a reality.

The Terminal star is best known for his darker hair and clean-shaven look.

Tom looked miles different with untamed white hair and a large grey moustache.

His character is seen on board a ship as the adventure leads him far away from his toy studio.

The trailer also treated fans to a look at some of the other characters in the film.

Cynthia's Blue Fairy is briefly seen granting a wish in Geppetto's studio, where his puppet Pinocchio magically comes to life.

Pinocchio then spends the movie on a quest to fulfil his creator's hopes and become a real-life boy.

We also get a glimpse at Jiminy Cricket, the insect who becomes Pinocchio's conscience, and in one clip he nearly gets eaten by Sofia the Seagull, voiced by GoodFellas star Lorraine Bracco.

Telly fans flocked to social media to complain after they could hardly recognise the iconic actor as he was interviewed on The One Show by Jermaine Jenus and Emma Willis.
