Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry reveals shocking secret romance with PRISON inmate who’s been behind bars for 10 years
TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has revealed she was romantically involved with a prison inmate who has been incarcerated for nearly a decade.
The reality star opened up about her past romance on Tuesday's episode of her podcast.
After hearing a listener's story about their relationship with a felon during a segment of "Down in the DM's," Kailyn opened up about her experience dating someone on the inside.
"My felon was - he's the one - to this day, he has my heart, my love," she gushed to her co-host, Vee Rivera.
She then detailed her conversation with the mystery man upon ending their whirlwind romance.
"I told him... when I ended it, I was just like, I love you so much but, you know, you've been in prison for nine years.

"And you're going to be in there for the rest of this year, and when you come out, you're going to have to do a lot of adjusting to society, and I don't think that I should be a distraction from that, and I don't think that it's realistic for you to move to Delaware right away and things like that.
"I said, 'when you get out, call me.' But like, right now, I mean, I was in the thick of my depression too, so I was like, I can't, I just couldn't give myself…" Kailyn confessed.
While not giving too much away on the details of her beau's imprisonment, she admitted that she thought he was "over-sentenced" for his crimes.
"But I definitely think it was, like his, not to put all of his business out there, but I definitely think for him it was like caught up with the wrong people.

"Not a bad person... but I definitely think he was over-sentenced for what his crime was. I mean, he didn't kill anybody, nothing like that... he didn't snitch on anyone, and everyone else got out in 2 or 3 years...
"And he went in as a kid, so to me, I just feel like he was over-sentenced, and I'm like, where's Kim K [Kardashian] cus we need her right now," she concluded.
She later revealed that she was contacted by a producer from the WeTV reality series, Love After Lockup, documenting couples' relationships while one partner is in prison. However, she declined to participate in the show.
DATING HISTORY
Kailyn did not disclose the timeline of the former couple's relationship, though fans are familiar with much of her current dating history.
The MTV star is mom to a son, Isaac, 12, with her ex Jo Rivera, and shares a son, Lincoln, eight, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin.
She also shares sons, Lux, four, and Creed, one, with her ex, Chris Lopez, who she often aired her differences with on the show.
The 30-year-old also dated Malik Montgomery, 26, who accused the TV personality of cheating on him with her neighbor.
Kailyn addressed her ex's claims on her other podcast, , last week, admitting the times she's been unfaithful in her relationships, though insisting that Malik was not one of them.
"I know, the timeline with Malik was weird, but I never dated two people at one time. There was a time where Chris and I were done, but I still wanted to see if I could make it work… and then, at this time, I was with Malik… I mean, I never cheated on him with Chris or anything. I never cheated on Chris with Malik; that never happened," Kailyn said.
The Marriage Boot Camp alum recently underwent a messy split from Malik but has since found herself a new love interest in her boyfriend, Elijah, 23.
"I never cheated on Malik with boyfriend now; that never happened," she insisted. "I have cheated in my lifetime, and I am completely open to talking about it."
BABY DADDY DRAMA
Kailyn has kept her relationship private with her new beau, though a recent photo stirred controversy with her baby daddy, Chris.
Chris, 28, took to to address Kailyn's picture, which showed her new man sitting at the island in her kitchen with their child Lux.
The snap showed the Army servicemen sitting next to the little boy on bar stools in her kitchen, eating crab together.
Kailyn captioned it, "I literally cannot," with a crying face emoji.
In reply, the father of two tweeted: "Damn near hiding the boy but quick to post with my son and my son only… interesting."
NEW LOVE
Earlier this month, she did a "soft launch" of her new man by posting a snap of them laughing in the kitchen together.
"All good over here," she wrote, adding an emoji surrounded by hearts.
Viewers caught a glimpse of Elijah during the Teen Mom 2 reunion special, where he made a guest appearance.
