The Chase viewers all say the same thing after spotting hilarious detail about tonight’s players

THE Chase viewers were chuffed to spot a humorous detail about the players' names on Thursday's show.

Host Bradley introduced the players, Richard, Tracy, Nancy and Drew who went up against Chaser, Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha.

Bradley noticed a funny details about graphic designer Drew's name, but missed what everyone at home was talking about.

"Graphic designer, and you're called Drew," laughed the host, pointing out it was an ironic name for his profession.

Drew admitted: "I've never heard that one before."

But viewers at home were too distracted by the line-up of the contestant names.

They pointed out Richard's name was commonly cut down to the nickname 'Dick', so standing by his co-contestant it wrote the famous detective's name, Dick Tracy.

And then the next two names spelt the name of teenage wonder detective and star of her own book series, Nancy Drew.

"Dick Tracy Nancy Drew very good," commented one fan on Twitter.

Another added: "Since when did #TheChase start putting contestants in funny name order every single episode?"

And a third wrote: "Dick Tracy & Nancy Drew…well played."

When Paul was introduced as the Chaser of the day, he made it a point to mention the funny line-up of names straight off the bat.

"Let's get this out of the way, firstly, great performance but what Bradley hasn't noticed is we've got one of those teams again, Nancy, Drew and Richard better known as Dick, Tracy," he pointed out.

"We have a crime fighting team on our hands today."

Bradley looked over at the panel of names: "Ah of course, brilliant."

Some viewers confessed they hadn't clocked the quirky names.

"I didn't notice either Brad," one wrote on Twitter.

Another added: "Glad to see I'm not the only one who clocked Dick Tracy and Nancy Drew."

The two women didn't make it to the final, leaving Richard and Drew to go up against Paul in the Final Round.

They were competing for £7,000 but weren't good enough to defeat the master quizzer.
