Top Gear fans all have same complaint as Freddie Flintoff goes bobsleighing
TOP Gear fans were left confused as Freddie Flintoff went bobsleighing on tonight’s show.
The TV presenter was seen going around a Norwegian luge track in a famous electric tricycle known as the Sinclair C5.
Despite not being meant for the ice, he goes bombing round the course in a very dangerous stunt.
Speaking beforehand Freddie admitted: “Sitting at the top, it’s a different course. That first drop… wow.
“I can just see probably 20 yards of track and then a roof, I don’t even see the track!”
And as he set off, he declared: “ Here we go, look at this. Blooming heck, it just disappears! And we’re off. I’m on my own here.”

Chris Harris, who was watching it all unfold, admitted: “He looks exposed, his head’s above. It’s like watching an old Formula 1 car when the canopy is so low and their torso is above.”
Those watching at home didn’t really get the segment though and took to Twitter to complain about.
One person moaned: “Remember a time when #TopGear used to demonstrate cars you’d aspire to own? Now it’s about sending a Sinclair C5 down a bobsleigh course. Utter garbage.”
A second added: “So the pinnacle of the show is watching Flintoff going down a bobsleigh run … over and over again. 🤷🏻♂️ #TopGear.”
And a third wrote: “Honestly @BBCOne what the hell has a bobsleigh got to do with the engineering of a C5 or of anything to do with motoring. You are slowing killing #TopGear off, it’s for all to see. Terrible program now. It’s an awfully scripted comedy.”
The episode also saw Freddie Flintoff, Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris live out their TV cop dreams by driving some iconic cop cars from TV shows, such as Starsky and Hutch's Ford Gran Torino and Morse's Mark 2.
The series returned last week following a turbulent few years since the departure of popular hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
