Coronation Street’s Kelly Neelan will kill Gary Windass when she discovers the truth, teases Millie Gibson
CORONATION Street’s Millie Gibson has teased Kelly Neelan could become a killer like her dad Rick Neelan.
The actress took home the best young performer prize at this weekend’s glittering British Soap Awards ceremony.
But speaking on the red carpet to us, she teased that the drama is only just beginning.
Viewers have watched as Kelly was left devastated when she discovered her dad Rick was dead.
And she was even more crushed when her own mum Laura confessed to killing him before dying of terminal cancer.
However while fans know that Gary Windass was responsible, Kelly has no idea and instead sees him as a father figure.

But in soap land nothing stays secret for ever, and Millie has opened up about how discovering the truth could see Kelly follow in her dad’s killer footsteps.
Asked on how Kelly would react, she told The Sun: "I think we would like to know that one.
"I think she might be sneaky about it and have a moment to herself of destruction and the horror that he didn't let me say goodbye to my mum, and he let her take the fall so I think it would kick off."
She added: "Who knows what she is capable of, she has her dad's genes!"
However, she doesn’t think that killing Gary would be done with her own hands.
Millie added: "I think she has those spiteful moments where we sort of see her old self but I don’t think she could be capable of that."
Coronation Street took home three awards from Saturday night’s ceremony.
