Coronation Street first look at Fiz Stape’s wedding to Phill Whittaker as Jamie Kenna teases dark twist
DESPITE his horrifying betrayal, Fiz Stape agreed to start afresh and tie the knot with Phill Whittaker.
However, Coronation Street actor Jamie Kenna has vowed another unexpected turn of events will disturb the peace.
After leaving the cobbles to begin her new life away from the Weatherfield drama, Fiz Stape (portrayed by soap legend Jennie McAlpine) is walking down the aisle with Phill Whittaker.
Jennie and Jamie have recently been snapped while filming their characters' wedding scenes, with the actress sporting a stunning off-the-shoulder wedding dress with matching heeled pumps and holding a bouquet of flowers.
Both stars were spotted with other familiar faces on the ITV soap in the likes of Gemma Winter actress Dolly-Rose Campbell and Samia Longchambon aka Maria Connor.
The presence of Maureen Lipman who plays Evelyn Plummer on location could also be a hint of Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) own presence at Fiz's wedding ceremony.

With scenes of the big day due to be aired in upcoming weeks, could Tyrone make his mind up and stop Fiz from saying "yes" to Phill?
Or will she really be able to go through with it?
As fans may know, Corrie bosses have been hinting at a possible reunion between the former couple - while actress Jennie McAlpine has revealed that Tyrone's affair with Alina Pop is the main obstacle they'll have to overcome if they ever wish to get back together.
This seemed likely when Fiz's daughter uncovered Phill's secret book about her father, serial killer John Stape.
