Awkward moment Gemma Owen makes major blunder on Love Island – but did you spot it?

LOVE Island fans reckon they spotted the cringe-worthy moment Gemma Owen realised that Jay Younger wasn't trying to chat her up at all last night.

The 19-year-old was seen giggling as the new arrival opened up about a girl he wanted to make a move on.

However, many reckon her face changed when she realised he wasn't talking about her.

Jay told her, as they sat on neighbouring sun loungers: "If I wasn't coupled up with Ekin do you think any of the girls would be open to getting to know me?"

Gemma replied: "Well obviously." Jay asked: "Which ones do you think? You tell me what you think."

She giggled: "What feeling do have have? No, you're just trying to get information out of me."

He replied, asking her to say if the person might like him back: "If I saw a name are you going to confirm or deny?"

However, she stopping smiling when she got him to name the girl he was talking about, with Jay replying: "Paige."

She turned to look at him saying: "I think she'd be open."

However, one fan insisted: "The awkwardness of Gemma 100% thinking Jay was talking about her when he was actually talking about Paige."

Jay, meanwhile, is with Ekin-Su, though their romance has cooled considerably since it was revealed she was in the bottom three after a public vote.
