In last night's episode of Love Island Paige Thorne was left in tears over Jacques O'Neill's casual reaction to Jay Younger wanted to get to know her.

Now viewers think her strong reaction confirms that the couple went all the way when they spent the night in the romantic room.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "Paige and Jacques had sex in the hideaway. Only reason that explains this kind of emotion."

Speaking in the beach hut, Jacques added: "It's either gonna make us worse or better us, and I'm big believer in things happening for a reason so in the next few days we'll see how things unfold."

Later Paige broke down during a conversation with Tasha Ghouri and said: "The whole Jacques thing... he's like 'yeah, go and have your conversation with Jay'.

"And it's not really what I want and I'm a bit like, 'Are you pushing it that hard because you're not feeling the same way?'"
