THE Great British Sewing Bee 2022 has finally reached it's climax.
Over the last ten weeks the line-up has slowly been whittled down - until the winner was finally announced.

Annie won The Great British Sewing Bee 2022!
Party Week saw the four finalists face three more difficult tasks in the pattern, transformation and made-to-measure tasks.
For the first time the final featured FOUR sewers - Brogan, Annie, Debra and Man Yee - after no-one as eliminated in the semi-final.
The sewers had to take on one of judge Esme Young’s Swanky Modes designs in the Pattern Challenge, make a party outfit out of their scraps in the Transformation, and create a beautiful red-carpet ready jumpsuit with luxury fabrics - which Annie mastered.

The winner of the first challenge was Debra who was thrilled with her sexy amorphous dress - and said she would have worn it back in her youth.
For the second challenge, the winner was Man Yee, with the judges calling her disco top, created out of scraps of material, "such a great concept".
Despite coming third and second in the first two challenges, Annie scooped the win for her made-to-measure jumpsuit in the final challenge.
Annie held her head in her hands as she was overcome with emotion and she was heard saying "wow" as she burst into tears.

She said: "That is so weird, sorry. I'm literally like, what is happening?
"It literally could have been any of us. I'm honestly so shocked. I cannot believe I have won that.
"I don't know how that happened. I'm so shocked but so privileged to have won."
Annie is a Surrey-based buyer for a high street fashion brand who rediscovered her love of sewing during the pandemic.
She credits her grandmother as her inspiration to take up sewing.
Annie loves roller skating, camping and long walks.
She became a front runner in the programme in week five after having a slow start.
However, her road to the final saw her become the favourite to take the Sewing Bee crown after winning Garment Of The Week three times
The sewer won best garment in week six with her 80s fashion blazer dress.
She was back on top in the quarter and semi-finals with her Jean Harlow-inspired frock and pink origami dress respectively.
When was the final of The Great British Sewing Bee?
The Great British Sewing Bee concluded on June 29, 2022, at 9pm, finishing off at 10pm.
Some viewers were left fuming after the final was switched at the last minute from BBC One to BBC Two to make way for Andy Murray's match at Wimbledon.
