The View fans spot ‘offensive’ pattern from Whoopi Goldberg as she makes the same ’empty promise’ on talk show
THE VIEW fans have spotted an ";offensive" pattern from Whoopi Goldberg as she continues to make the same "empty promise" to guests on the talk show.
Over and over again, the 66-year-old asks guests to come back and co-host but never makes good on the promise.

On the June 29 episode of The View, they welcomed Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Simu Liu and Chloe Fineman.
When Simu came on the show, fans were excited when he appeared with an open button-down shirt.
After talking to him about his upcoming roles and other topics, Whoopi invited him to co-host in the future.
"Next time we see you, come and hang with us for the whole show. And do a thing with us. Be one of our co-hosts," she told him.

He replied, "Oh my goodness" with a shocked expression and asked if they'd be shooting in the Bahamas.
Then, later on in the show, SNL's Chloe Fineman appeared for an interview.
She repeated the same thing to her saying, "Next time we're all together, you also should come and co-host with us. Have some fun."
"That would be...," Chloe was left speechless while nodding her head.

EMPTY PROMISES
Fans took to Twitter to call out the host for her "empty promises."
"What's the tally of how many guests Whoopi has invited to co-host? Ha ha! #TheView," one fan wrote with a gif of a woman gesturing with her hands.
Another called her out saying, "Whoopi can you please stop inviting all the guests to co-host? #TheView."
"Now celebrities, raise your hand if Whoopi offered you a guest co-host seat on #theview," a third added with the scene from Mean Girls where everyone is raising their hands.
A fan last week tweeted, "Another co-host invite from Whoopi. #TheView."
One Twitter user pointed out that it never happens, writing, "Whoopi says to guests…'You must come back and co-host' to celebrities and others guests, but then they never do!!"
NOT FINE WITH HER!
Before asking Chloe to come back as a co-host one day, she completely butchered her name.
Instead of saying "Fineman," Whoopi introduced her as "Fine-a-man."
"And she's also a scene-stealer in the reboot of Father of the Bride, please welcome Chloe Fine-a-man," she said.
"I'm going to say your name again because I said Fine-a-man and it's Fineman," Whoopi explained to the actress as she sat down.
Chloe was very understanding and nodded.
"That's ok. It almost reads like Fin-a-man (Cinnamon with an 'F'), so," she told the host.
"Well, I almost went there, but I didn't. Anyway, Chloe's here," Whoopi said.
When Chloe's interview was over, Whoopi made sure to say Fineman with an emphasis on it and the comedian smiled.
CALM DOWN
When Simu Liu walked out to join the co-hosts at the table, he had fans in a frenzy as he walked out with an open button-down shirt.
Whoopi shut down the audience, who wouldn't stop screaming and cheering.
“Alright now! Alright now!” Whoopi hollered.
“He is not going home with anybody here - okay?”
Simu and the other panelists laughed as they began their discussion, but the audience kept whooping loudly as he gave his answers.
Meanwhile, 79-year-old host Joy Behar was equally enamored with the shirtless guest as the audience was.
