THE One Show's Alex Jones issued a desperate plea to fans after she 'struggled' through presenting.
Mondays show saw Alex, 45, hosting alongside Jermaine Jenas, 39, but as soon as they had finished their introductions, Jermaine shared his concern for his co-star.
He said: "Erm, sounding a little bit ropey there Al, you okay? Your voice is a bit..."
Alex replied: "Better than I was. But you know, sponsored by pineapple juice."
She then added: "Any home remedies, send them in, it's the most frustrating thing!"
Supporting his pal, Jermaine said to viewers: "It is, come on, she's pushing through, people. Help her out, send her in your remedies."

Kind-hearted viewers of The One Show did as they were told and sent in suggestions, which the pair discussed later in the show.
Alex said: "Thank you so much for the sore throat remedies."
She then turned to guests, Thor stars Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson and said: "I don't normally speak like this ladies - you won't know that!
"I've got a hoarse voice, I think I've got a bit of laryngitis, but I feel fine! Anyway, thank you."

She then read out some suggestions, saying: "A toddy apparently, was invented in India. I thought... I don't know.
"That's whiskey, honey and cinnamon, that suits me, I'll do a bit of that!"
She wasn't as keen on one that Jermaine read out as he said: "Chopped onion and brown sugar in a bowl...drink the juice...sounds horrendous!"
Addressing the viewer, Alex said with a grimace: "Oh, Claire! I think I'd rather have this for a few weeks."
The One Shows airs weeknights at 7pm but channels vary this week due to Wimbledon coverage.
