Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn teases return to Hollyoaks
CORONATION Street star Katie McGlynn has teased a possible return to Hollyoaks.
The soap actress - who is known for playing Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street - opened up about her career at the TRIC Awards.
Katie, 28, who has had a number of big-time telly roles, including Becky Quintin in Hollyoaks and Jodie Allen in Waterloo Road, has teased another job working with Netflix.
She bid goodbye to Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks in February of this year - just nine months after joining the cast as Becky.
While her Corrie character Sinead was killed off the ITV soap in a dramatic cervical cancer storyline three years ago.
Now, she has exclusively revealed to The Sun Online she is due to start a new venture, and it's the most "exciting" yet.

"There is a lot of exciting stuff coming up," Katie teased as she stood on the red carpet. "I am going to be doing a bit of breakfast TV next week.
"I've got a lot of projects but I still can't say for definite yet, but it's going to be an exciting year.
"I have never planned my career. I just love working. I want to stick with TV, Netflix, film. I would love to do anything to do with stage.
"At the moment I want to stick to drama and Netflix type stuff."

Reflecting on her time in Hollyoaks - which came to an end in February - she revealed she "loved" working on it.
Katie teased that she could be making a come back to the long-running programme, saying "you never know".
"I loved my time on Hollyoaks, I loved everybody and I had such a good time," she continued.
"You never know she might come back. I just wanted to see what was out there and just keep playing different roles. You just don't know."

It comes after Katie gave fans a sneak peek at her new work plans in an Instagram stories post - telling them to watch this space.
During an Instagram Q&A Katie was asked about future work projects, to which she replied: "I have some potentially exciting projects coming up. I'll keep you updated."
