Love Island fans in hysterics as show makes ‘savage’ dig at Boris Johnson

The savage dig at the outgoing PM comes on high day of drama in British politics and in the Love Island villa during the Casa Amor recoupling ceremony.

Love Island made a savage dig at Prime Minister Boris Johnson

The defeated PM today told the nation he is quitting and clearing the stage for a new Tory leader by the autumn in a statement outside 10 Downing Street.

On July 5, 2022, an onslaught of resignations began to hit Downing Street – lasting two days until Johnson agreed to leave his position.

Over 50 Conservatives handed in their notice, including cabinet ministers, after the Chris Pincher scandal broke.

Johnson announced that Pincher would keep his position as MP despite accusations against him which angered many other members of the Conservative Party.

Concerns came as Johnson did not appear to be willing to leave in the first 24hours of walk outs, instead he looked to shuffle the cabinet.

It was a fact Iain couldn’t help but poke fun just a minute into tonight’s highly anticipated episode.
