LIV Flaherty got the shock of a lifetime when her mother Sandra showed up in the Dales on Friday.
While she claimed to want help for her alcohol addiction, Emmerdale viewers believe she's actually after her daughter's money.
More than a year has passed since Sandra last saw her daughter Liv (portrayed by Isobel Steele).
But during Friday's instalment of the Yorkshire-based program, Joanne Mitchell reprised her role as Sandra rocked up in the eponymous village.
Upon seeing her estranged daughter - who went through hell in recent months and even through prison - Sandra assured her she was ready to get over her reliance on alcohol.
Liv was initially reluctant, much like her husband Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).

However, during a walk with Gabby Thomas in the village, Liv caught her mother drunk, stumbling around the graveyard, and decided she couldn't give up on her.
Liv suggested that Sandra should stay with her and Vinny but her other half remains wary of her - and fans agree he may be right to have his guard up.
Fans took to Twitter, suspicious of Sandra's true motives.
According to them, she may in reality be wanting to get her hands on Liv's fortune.

"I knew the moment Sandra turned up she was after Liv's Money", one viewer wrote on Twitter while another echoed: "Sandra is going to scam Liv."
A third agreed: "She’s after money."
Another viewer believes that Sandra may be after more than her daughter's money, penning: "Sandra wants the get her hands on the house."
One final Emmerdale fan believes that Sandra is only back to "get all the money that she can."
Viewers became convinced Sandra only had eyes for cash and didn't actually care about rekindling her relationship with Liv due to a cryptic phone call.

As Friday's episode of the soap ended, with Vinny and Liv out of the main room in Mill Cottage, Sandra picked up her phone and talked to someone who seemingly demanded money from her.
Sandra told the mystery person she would call them when she could, assuring that everything was "in hand" and that they would "get their money."
Unfortunately for her, Vinny caught her on the phone although he didn't mention it to Liv.
