ADAM Collard takes Paige Thorne on a date just hours after Jacques O'Neill dramatically quits Love Island.

The villa veteran, who starred in the series 2018 series, wastes no time in rounding up the girls after making his debut in last night's show.

Adam takes three islanders on dates including Summer and Danica and picks Paige, 23, as his final girl.

The Welsh beauty share a glass of fizz with the fitness fanatic beneath the romantic villa lights.

It comes after Adam, 26, gets a text and is asked to invite three girls of his choice to the Hideaway terrace for dates.

When Paige arrives, she questions whether he’s saved the best until last. 

Paige jokes: “As if you picked me last!”

Adam says: “Do you think the best first or best last..?”

Paige says: “I’ll ask you that question.” 

And keen to know about what Adam brings to the table in a relationship, Paige says: “The little things matter most to me.”

And when Adam returns to talk to the boys, he describes one of the girls as ‘wifey’ material.

Jacques' shock exit came after he continued his attempts to win back Paige after it was revealed he kissed  while Paige was away in Casa Amor.

Monday's episode then saw the return of Adam, and fellow contestants remarked on how happy Paige seemed while talking to him shortly after his entrance, saying that 23-year-old Jacques was sure to be "so intimidated" by the new arrival.

Love Island announced his departure last night with a statement that read: "Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa. He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight's episode.

"We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what's next for Jacques."
