Love Island forced to deny Paige has left villa after she’s targeted by hoax saying she’s quit
LOVE Island has been forced to deny Paige Thorne has left the villa after a hoax swept the internet saying she had quit.
Rumours were rife after a Facebook fan page shared a post which read: "BREAKING NEWS: According to close sources, Paige Thorne has reportedly left the Love Island villa!"
It added: "This comes after yesterday's episode where we seen Jacques leave the villa."
The post sent fans into a frenzy, with one tipster even contacting The Sun to claim Paige and Jacques had been spotted together in Leeds earlier today.
But insiders have now confirmed to The Sun that this is NOT the case.
A show source told us: "This is complete and utter nonsense. Paige has not left the show and is still in the villa."

The whispers began circulating after Jacques, who was coupled up with Paige in the villa, shockingly quit the show earlier this week to look after his mental health.
Paige was devastated but supported his brave decision and chose to remain in the villa for the final weeks.
But after the unverified rumours that Paige had left, many fans panicked that one of the show favourites has said goodbye just days before the finale.
Others felt the post was fake straightaway, however, citing the bad grammar.
Jacques, meanwhile, has already arrived back home in Yorkshire after his exit in Tuesday night's episode.
The rugby player was snapped at the airport in Leeds by a pal as he made his low-key return.
He is expected to return to social media on Thursday but has already caught up with his Castleford teammates.
His old coach Lee Radford joked that he thought he would try to make a couple of million before returning to playing rugby.
