Love Island first look: Shock axe tonight as Islanders’ heads left spinning in recoupling twist

There’s set to be another recoupling twist on Love Island, with a shock axing thrown in.

The dramatic episode will see the boys choosing which girls they’d like to couple up with following Becky Hill’s performance.

In true Love Island fashion, they’ll all gather around the fire pit and nerves are rife as the boys get ready to choose, and it’s Adam up first.

He says: “From the moment I came in here, she made me feel most welcome.”

Adam, 26, has been getting to know Paige Thorne, 24, on the show, with Jacques’ shock exit coming just a day after he entered the villa, and viewers find out tonight which Love Island lady he’ll pick.

Another of the boys says: “I absolutely adore her and I find myself always wanting to be around her. When I miss her the feeling is unbearable.”

While a third adds while picking: “Every day, day by day we are always more and more sure about our future together.” 

Islanders are also due to discover that the public have been voting for their favourite girl and boy in tonight’s episode.

Ekin-Su receives a text, and reads a message that asks all islanders to go to the fire pit once more.

As they gather around and await their fate, Adam reads: “The public have been voting for their favourite girl and their favourite boy. Those with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped from the Island tonight.” 

It’s then that they’ll find out whether they’ll be packing their suitcases or heading home.

Love Island bosses have been forced to deny that Paige has left the villa, after a hoax swept the internet saying she had quit.

Rumours were rife after a Facebook fan page shared a post which read: "BREAKING NEWS: According to close sources, Paige Thorne has reportedly left the Love Island villa!"

It added: "This comes after yesterday's episode where we seen Jacques leave the villa."

But insiders have confirmed to The Sun that this is NOT the case.

A show source told us: "This is complete and utter nonsense. Paige has not left the show and is still in the villa."
