Love Island viewers furious at Dami’s ‘disrespectful’ recoupling speech

LOVE Island viewers were left fuming this evening as Dami brought up the ‘salon’ during his recoupling speech.

The Dubliner, who had strayed from Indiyah during Casa Amor, has been trying to win her back for days before finally getting to be in a couple with her.

But as he said his heartfelt speech, he said he ‘hoped the salon would be open this time’.

The girls in the villa have been using salon treatments as a code for sexual acts.

Those watching at home were not impressed with Dami, with one viewer saying: “#loveisland still processing that in Dami’s speeh he cheapened it by making it about wanting the ‘salon to open.’ Great. Nice to know what’s important.”

A second wrote: “Does Dami think that was a good speech? He’s still supposed to be trying to redeem himself and he’s on about the salon?”

And a third asked: “Dami why is salons in your speech?? Ew #LoveISland”

“Why is Dami talking about the salon in his recoupling speech …. #LoveIsland,” added a fourth.

Dami had coupled up with Summer during Casa Amor, while Indiyah had picked Deji.

But as soon as they were reunited the pair made it clear they only had eyes for each other.

He told her: “It was always gonna be you for me. Even when you left and stuff, it was always gonna be you.

“There was a possible connection there with Summer but I don’t feel like the way I feel like when we’re together.

“It’s incomparable to what I feel we have. I feel like it is with you, and if it’s not gonna be with you it is what it is but I don’t feel like anyone else could come in and they’ll change the way I feel about you.”
