JENNY Ryan has shared a lovely announcement with her fans about a recent achievement.

The Chase star, 40, took to her own social media accounts to share the exciting career news.

Jenny Ryan was awarded an honorary doctor by the University of Bolton

On Thursday, July 14, she shared a post announcing she'd been awarded an honorary doctorate.

The University of Bolton has granted the TV star the title, who can now go by Doctor Ryan.

Jenny - who also goes by the nickname of The Vixen on the ITV show - has previously obtained a law degree from the University of Leeds.

She wrote on Twitter: "They call me Doctor Ryan".

It didn't take long for fans of The Chase to rush straight to the comment section to congratulate Jenny.

One said: "Yay huge congratulations and well over due I think.

"Super proud fan moment."

Another fan wrote: "Huge huge congratulations to our Jenny who is now Dr Jenny.
