Coronation Street fans left hot under the collar by ‘fit’ Maria Connor’s skintight gym kit
CORONATION Street fans were left hot under the collar by 'fit' Maria Connor's skintight gym kit last night.
The councillor - played by Samia Longchambon - was seen practising her yoga skills during the opening scenes of Monday evening's instalment of the ITV soap.
As Gary Windass walked into the front room, he saw his wife Maria balancing on her head in a tight sports top and figure-hugging grey leggings.
He asked: "Is this one of those lucid dreams where I'm actually still asleep?"
Maria said: "What you on about?!"
Gary replied: "You exercising?"

In recent weeks Maria has been bullied online because of the decisions she's made for Weatherfield as a councillor.
She told Gary that she couldn't sleep and doing yoga helps her take her mind off everything.
Fans watching at home were a little distracted by how amazing Maria looked in her sports attire.
One wrote on Twitter: "Excuse me for 5 minutes, I’ve just flicked on #corrie and got a glimpse of Maria in Lycra."
"Maria doing yoga!," another tweeted.
A third added: "Fit Maria looks very flexible."
As viewers will know, Maria is being stalked by someone and last week fans think they sussed out who it is.
Some believe that Kelly Neelan is involved.
Maria has been trying to secure herself a spot in the council, with green issues at the top of her political agenda.
Sticking to her convictions, Maria made the decision to change the recycling rules, bringing in extra bins and new collections but this has had devastating consequences throughout the Street.
Unable to cope with their new workload, recycling collectors have gone on strike and Maria has since been personally targeted.
In recent weeks, Maria found out a deep-fake video of her had been made after her son Liam got into a fight in school.
The damaging clip featured a montage of her face on the body of a naked woman, making it look like she'd been in an X-rated film, and the video has gone viral.
Matters have gotten worse and Maria is living in fear as, during Wednesday's instalment of the Manchester-based soap, she discovered a tracker planted in her bag after attending a political function.
A man even approached her, claiming to work for environmental health, to compliment her on "her" video.
Later on, a notification on her phone informed her a third-party device was tracking her location.
Meanwhile, soap fans have been trying to work out who is trying to give Maria a fright and most are convinced her enemy is dangerously close.

"Who else thinks it’s Kelly??!! I think she knows Gary and Maria have something to do with her dad’s death and this is payback!!", one viewer commented on Twitter.
Another echoed: "I reckon it could be Kelly - why was she so desperate to go the event with Maria when she didn't have to?"
