MONEY Saving Expert Martin Lewis looked fuming as he appeared on This Morning today.
The ITV star, 50, issued a hard-hitting warning after a pensioner on a low-income said she hoped to invest in a cryptocurrency service that used his face.
A viewer called Monique asked: "I need money fast - should I look into Bitcoin? I'm a 76-year-old widow living on an annual income of under £15,000.
"I'm currently finding it very difficult to make ends meet and am I using my savings to supplement my income. I need some serious money quickly."
Martin quickly realised she had seen one of the ads for "scam" get-rich-quick services bearing his face that appear on social media.
The This Morning consumer champion insisted angrily: "No no no no no no no no no. Look, I've just realised, I was wondering where the question was going and right at the end I realised.

"It is one of those scams that use my face to advertise it. It is a scam, it is nothing to do with Bitcoin. It's not an investment, it's nothing to do with cryptocurrency.
"It is a scam - someone trying to steal your money. I don't need to say any more because that should be enough."
He added: "Just generally, you don't do investing by some quick advert that's popped up on social media. That's not how you invest.
"If you want to get into cryptocurrency - and it's not my expertise - then you need to do proper detailed research.

"Do not respond to adverts on social media especially with celebrity faces in for cryptocurrency. They are almost all scams.
"They're not what we've said. I don't do it, Phil doesn't do, Holly doesn't do it. They are scams for those fake cryptocurrency adverts.
"Don't touch them, don't sniff them, don't smell them, don't go near them."
He added, pointing to himself: "Any advert you see with this face in, beautiful and handsome though it is, is a scam.
"Don't trust it and don't go near it."
