A PLACE in the Sun fans were left fuming after guests refused to tour properties and Jean Johansson resorted to BEGGING.

Tuesdays edition of the Channel 4 show saw Jean meet Katie and her son Michael in Paphos, Cyprus.

Katie had a maximum budget of £83,000 and hoped to find a one or two bedroomed property.

Michael said: "It can be one or two bedrooms but it has to be nice outside, definitely a pool and a view."

While the first two viewings went relatively well, the third saw Jean hit a stumbling block.

As they approached the property - a two bed on the market for £91,000, Jean pleaded: "You're both so quiet, please talk to me."

Katie replied: "It's nothing as nice as the last couple of properties."

They reluctantly agreed to go inside but once there, they were even less impressed and refused to explore further than the open plan kitchen and living room.

Michael said: "I think the views and the outside, if you were going to go that high up with her budget you need to be like 'wow! I really want this!' and really want to spend the money."

Jean replied: "Does this place have enough for you to spend that money?"

Katie replied with a firm "no", prompting Jean to ask: "Is there any point in me showing you around the rest?"

Again, Katie was negative saying: "Not really, no. Not for the top end of my budget, there's definitely no point."

Viewers took to Twitter to comment on the pair, with one writing: "Isn't the top of her budget £83k? Stop deluding yourself, woman."

Another added: "Surely the second bedroom is more important than a view you pair of doughnuts?

"I wouldn't be sharing a bedroom with my mum that's for sure."

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
