I was on Love Island and Jacques flirted with me behind Paige’s back – but it was never shown on TV

LOVE Island star Danica Taylor has opened up about a time with Jacques O’Neill on the show that never got aired.

The 21-year-old reality star sat down for a candid interview where she looked back at her time on the show, and admitted Jacques flirted with her behind Paige Thorne’s back.

Jacques, 23, sensationally quit Love Island while involved with paramedic Paige, 24, who has since moved on and become official with bombshell Adam Collard, 26.

Despite Jacques’ romance with Paige, dancer Danica admitted they was a flirtation that viewers never got to see.

Danica said: “With Jacques, he was flirty with me and he was giving me signals that he was quite into me.

“He always said it was either 100 or nothing and he kind of then made out that he never gave me that kind of inkling that he was into me in that way.”

Talking to , Danica admitted they’d had a “flirty” chat on the bean bags.

She continued: “There definitely was a bit of a vibe with Jacques. I can’t remember if it was aired or not but me and Jacques had about an hour long conversation on the bean bags.

“It was very flirtatious. We were getting along. Things like that maybe didn’t get shown because it may not have fit the journey I was about to go on.There was a flirtatious conversation though.”

Despite having a few rocky romances on the hit show, Danica now seems happier than ever with Jamie Allen.

The couple met on this year’s series of the reality dating show towards the end.

When footballer Jamie entered it was a different story for Danica, who left the villa with her beau and the pair remain loved-up.

It seems things have now heated up between the dancer and 27-year-old Jamie, with the pair admitting to having a “connection” and even saying they’ll “have cute kids.”

Danica said: “The beauty salon is fully working. It’s all good, full works. Why not?” using the lingo used amongst this year’s Islanders to describe how far they’d each gone in the bedroom with their respective partners.

She continued to tell : “Obviously we’ve joked about, ‘Ah, we’ll have such cute kids. Imagine if one day we got married and we met on Love Island.’ We’re just taking every day as it comes.”
