A PLACE in the Sun viewers were left open-mouthed after a couple plunged into a swimming pool fully clothed.
On today's episode, Ben Hillman met Ian and Steph, who hoped to find a holiday home in Portugal.

The couple wanted a modern, open plan, two bed two bath, outdoor space and had a budget of £300,000.
They also wanted a communal pool, a place that was a bike ride away from the beach and with Ian being a keen golfer he wanted to be near a golf course.
The first property didn't float their boat but the second one ticked all their boxes and they were keen to put an offer in then and there.
However, Ben said they should continue the search just to see if they could beat it.

While the third property was "too clinical" for them, they also didn't get the right feelings about property four too.
The couple were impressed by the fifth property - a house - but in the end, their heart was set on property two.
The property was on the market for £286,364, within their budget, but the couple decided to make a cheeky offer £20k under the asking price.
It was understandably rejected, but after bartering they secured it for £271k.

To celebrate, the pair went and jumped into the nearby pool fully clothed.
Viewers reacted on Twitter, with one writing: "Get in the pool #aplaceinthesun."
Another said: "He held his nose when he jumped in!! What an absolute p***k!"
