Married at First Sight UK’s Whitney breaks down as she opens up about losing her mum in horror car crash
MARRIED At First Sight UK's Whitney broke down in tears during the first episode as she opened up about losing her mum.
Whitney, 31, revealed the horror circumstances surrounding her mum's death ahead of being paired with future husband Duka.
Breaking down, the Married at First Sight UK star said: "My mum passed away, she was driving home from work and a man drove into her.
"I really miss her, she was my best friend."
Earlier in the episode Whitney found herself caught up in a spat between Jenna and Thomas.
When Jenna revealed she wouldn't be having anybody walk her down the aisle, Thomas appeared shocked and questioned her decision.

But when Jenna confessed that she'd lost her dad, she and Whitney ended up bonding over losing parents.
Whitney also ended up in a bust-up with Jess as they disagreed over having sex on the first night of marriage.
The PA warned dental nurse Jess to "you do you" after she said she would sleep with her husband on the first night of their marriage.
"You do you, you do you," she blasted at her, while pulling a disapproving face. "But I won't be doing it."
Jess was left furious by Whitney's reaction and branded her a "b****".
