And the pros turned up the wow factor for the first official snap of them altogether after four new dancers joined the crew.

The ladies - including Karen Hauer and Dianne Buswell - stunned in a variety of fancy frocks in shades of purple, pink and peach.

Meanwhile the pro men, made up of stars including current champ Giovanni Pernice, looked dapper in black tuxedos.

New professional Michelle Tsiakkas is a Latin dance champion and one of the four exciting new pros to join the squad this year.

More on Strictly Come Dancing

Michelle is already known to the Strictly family after dancing alongside pros including Diane Buswell and Graziano di Prima in touring stage show Burn the Floor.

She first started dancing at the age of six in her home country of Cyprus where she became an undefeated champion, winning national titles consecutively from 2001-2011 before moving to London to study.

Fellow BBC newbie Lauren Oakley is a former Under 21 British National Champion.

She is also familiar to Strictly fans after starring on the same tour.

The dancer is joined on Strictly’s largest line-up ever by fellow newcomers European cup winner Vito Coppola and Chinese National Champion Carlos Gu.

Italian stallion Vito Coppola is set to give Giovanni Pernice a run for his money.

Last year he won Italy's version of Strictly, Dancing with the Stars, beating fellow competitor Bianca Gascogine into second place.

They join the 16 professional dancers already revealed for the upcoming series: Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu.
