Naga closed her eyes at one point as she spoke to Union representative Dave Ward about the Royal Mail strikes

On today's BBC Breakfast she sent Twitter into overdrive as she interviewed Dave Ward, the General Secretary of the Communication Workers Union about the Royal Mail strikes.

After starting out calmly discussing how negotiations were going, Naga seemed to get frustrated with the union boss as he repeated something he had already said.

Speaking over him, she said: "You have said this, I'm sorry, you have said this. I haven't got the time."

David, who had also been talking, stopped as he realised Naga was speaking - prompting her to close her eyes and press her fingertips together before taking a breath and telling him: "Go on then.

Taking to Twitter, one BBC Breakfast viewer wrote: "@TVNaga01 Wow, you are so rude on TV. The way you rolled your eyes at Dave Ward was very unprofessional."

Another added: "Very unprofessional from @TVNaga01 on
@BBCBreakfast this morning telling @CWUnews @DaveWardGS
"I don't have time for this" when he was trying to finish a question he'd been asked!"

A third tweeted: "@TVNaga01 That was a terrible interview with David ward you clearly closed your eyes while he was trying to talk.

They weren't alone with their criticism as another tweeted: "How #@%!ing rude is @TVNaga01? 'Make your point. Make your point if it's a new point'.

"Massive difference between being an assertive interviewer and being downright rude. How is she still in a job? @BBCBreakfast."
