Scarlett Moffatt, Shirley Ballas and Alison Hammond lead star-studded first look at Bradley Walsh’s Blankety Blank

BLANKETY Blank has teased a star-studded line-up ahead of the new series coming soon to the BBC

The game show returns to the channel for another series following its revival in 2020.

It sees a panel of six celebrities each week try and fill in the missing blanks in a bid to help contestants win prizes.

In a brand new teaser trailer for the show, host Bradley Walsh can be seen arriving into studio to cheers and applause.

The endearing host can be heard saying: "Blankety Blank is back, hosted by yours truly, yes me Bradley Walsh with our incredible celebrity panel."

Also joining the show this series is author and Channel 4 presenter Big Narstie, host Scarlett Moffatt and reality star Joey Essex.

ITV daytime stars Lorraine Kelly and Alison Hammond will also join the panel and help the contestants.

The original series of Blankety Blank originally aired in 1979 on the BBC and was presented by the late Terry Wogan and then by Les Dawson until being axed in 1990.

It returned to telly in the late 90s as Paul O'Grady fronted the programme as Lily Savage.

It was dropped by the public service broadcaster in 1999 and went to ITV for a short time before it met the same fate.

The Beeb have confirmed the new series will kick off on Saturday September 17 at 8pm on BBC One.
