Gareth Gates signs up for Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins and will jet off to film new series next month

GARETH Gates is one of the first stars to sign up for the next series of Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins.

The current series of the Channel 4 show has only just returned to screens but the next batch of celebs will head to an unconfirmed location next month, The Sun can reveal.

A TV insider told us: "Gareth loves the show and is always looking for new challenges so when the opportunity came up he couldn't turn it down.

"He knows it won't be easy but he's looking forward to getting stuck in and can't wait to start."

A representative for Gareth declined to comment when approached by The Sun.

Gareth, who first found fame on Pop Idol in 2002, has no doubt been even more inspired by the latest batch of contestants, including Pete Wicks and Amber Gill.

Pete and Amber have already left the gruelling challenge show.

In the second episode of season four of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins which aired on Sunday, September 11, 2022, disaster struck after Pete jumped from a helicopter with reality star Ashley Cain in a helo-cast task.

The 33-year-old found himself knocked unconscious and face down in the water.

Rescue swimmers raced to flip him over in the water.

While the Towie star did recover and made it to shore, the accident meant he was unable to continue with the Selection Course.

And on top of that, the reality star broke his ribs in the process.
