I was on Bake Off – we’re not allowed to change our outfits and there’s a revolting twist
A FORMER Great British Bake Off star has revealed exactly what it's like to be on the BBC show.
Lizzie Acker, who made it to the quarter-finals of the 12th season, competed during the pandemic.

Each episode is filmed across two days, but for continuity reasons, the bakers have to stay in the same clothes.
Speaking about what happens to those clothes between the filming days, Lizzie told the publication: "Absolutely nothing.

"You get a new apron. Your apron gets clean, but nothing else does."
She added that: "Everyone smells. You love each other so you’re giving everyone a hug, and it doesn’t matter.
"I got back to the green room at one point, I took my shoes off, and Chigs told me, 'Your feet smell vinegary. Put them back on'."
Despite the lack of washing clothes, Lizzie had a great time on the show, and made some friends for life.
