Netflix resumes filming on The Crown season six after Queen’s death – but there’s a catch
AFTER a short suspension of its filming, Netflix's popular royal series The Crown has resumed filming.
The drama paused its production following the sad news of Queen Elizabeth II's passing on Thursday, September 8.
The filming of the Netflix show's sixth season was underway when the tragic news broke.
Production was halted on Friday, September 9, but the crew were back filming by the weekend.
They were pictured on location at the Savoy Hotel in central London.
On Sunday, a few male actors were snapped wearing smart suits and walking in front of the building.

The road to the famous hotel's entrance had been closed off to the public, and a number of huge production trucks were on-site.
As expected, the show will also be pausing its production for the day of Her Majesty's funeral.
On Monday, September 19, no filming will go ahead out of respect for the late monarch.
A spokesperson from Netflix recently confirmed this, stating on Friday: "As a mark of respect, filming on The Crown was suspended today.
