Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street were axed from their usual timeslots to allow for extended news coverage.

However, in a bid to catch back up, ITV will screen three episodes of Emmerdale tonight.

This means fans will be caught up on the latest happenings in the countryside village of the Yorkshire Dales.

The triple bill will begin from 7:30pm and an hour of Coronation Street will follow at 9pm.
