ITV reveals new scheduling change for Emmerdale as Coronation Street is cancelled
EMMERDALE has revealed another schedule shake-up with TWO episodes airing on Friday.
The TV schedules have been thrown into chaos due to the ongoing coverage of The Queen's death and impending funeral.
It means the soaps are having to play catch up to try and fit all the previously axed episodes back into the schedule.
Now, ITV has confirmed that two episodes of Emmerdale will air on Friday, rather than the original one 30 minute episode.
The first will air at 8pm while the second will follow at 8.30pm, with the news being cut back to make room for the double bill.
There will be no Coronation Street on Friday.

ITV reintroduced Emmerdale back into the schedule on Tuesday, while Coronation Street aired on Monday night at its usual time of 8pm.
