EMMERDALE fans have spotted a major baby gaffe - and it could expose Chas and Al's affair.
The characters are currently cheating on their respective partners - Paddy Kirk and Kerry Wyatt - and enjoyed a steamy night away in a B&B in a recent episode.
When she returned to the village, Chas told her family her car had broken down, forcing her to stay in a B&B with baby Eve.
Chas was seen repeating the story to her daughter as she sat in a pushchair, with the child making gurgling sounds.
But Emmerdale viewers were quick to question how old Eve was supposed to be as she seemed to be on the verge of talking in a recent episode.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Last week Eve was sitting up in a chair drawing pictures looking about 2. Now she's reverted back to a babbling 8 month old. Make up your mind.”

Another added: "Eve is 3, why have they got her sat in her pram sounding like a baby,”
A fellow viewer agreed, writing: “Why does Eve sound like a little baby she’s nearly 3?”
Meanwhile a fourth shared: "Eve was a two year old running around last week, now she’s back in a pushchair talking baby language."
However, other fans think Eve will be the key to exposing Chas and Al's affair.

One wrote: "I'm all here for Eve's first word to be Al - what a great way to expose the affair.”
The affair has been going on for months but they were caught by her cousin Belle, and insisted they had called it off.
But last week they reignited their affair with a dirty weekend away in a cottage with Chas’ unaware toddler.
Leaving Eve alone, the pair went upstairs for some alone time - but for Al things had got more serious.
“I love you,” he said after the pair’s sordid romp.

But he looked crestfallen when Chas replied simply: “I need to go and check on Eve.”
Later, he told her: “I don’t say that to anyone and mean it but I meant it. I love you."
Emmerdale airs on ITV and is available on ITV Hub.
