Kerry Katona TURNS DOWN I’m A Celeb All Stars despite being queen of the jungle in 2004

Kerry Katona has turned down the chance to star on the All Stars edition of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

While the official cast list has yet to be announced, The Sun can exclusively reveal that the former Atomic Kitten singer passed on the offer.

Kerry, 42, famously was crowned queen of the jungle when she appeared on the ITV smash in 2004.

But this time around, Kerry decided she couldn't commit to the spin-off, which will see some of the most memorable campmates of all time take on the bushtucker trials once more.

A source reveals: "Kerry met with ITV bosses to discuss the opportunity but made the difficult decision to pass on it.

"She is so grateful for her time in the jungle and loves the show, but couldn't make it work as she had already committed to another TV show."

ITV declined to comment when The Sun reached out but a rep for Kerry confirmed she was unable to sign on the dotted line.

"Kerry did have meetings to take part in I'm A Celebrity All Stars but due to other filming commitments, she was unable to take part," said the spokesperson.

Not being able to take part in the show will come as a blow for Kerry, as she said last year that she would love to do an all-stars version of the smash hit series.

She told the back in December: “I’ll definitely go back in. I thought, 20 year anniversary, they might do an all stars with the king and queens.”

She added, however, that there would be one thing putting her off.

"I wouldn’t want to lose my crown!” she laughed.

The All Stars series is currently filming in South Africa.

The Sun has revealed that Myleene Klass will be donning her famous white bikini once more and returning for the spin-off.

Amir Khan is also said to be appearing on the new version, while Helen Flanagan has also been in talks.

Corrie's Andy Whyment, Gillian McKeith and Paul Burrell are also in the mix.

Producers will still shoot a normal series - featuring a brand new line-up of stars - in New South Wales, Australia, in November 2022.

The I'm A Celebrity All Stars will then likely air in early 2023 - although this is yet to be confirmed.
