Holly Willoughby breaks her silence after This Morning ‘queue-gate’ fury with first social media post since row erupted
HOLLY Willoughby returned to social media today for the first time since she became embroiled in queue-gate.
Over the last few days the 41-year-old has called in lawyers and been left in tears over claims she and Phillip Schofield skipped the queue to file past the Queen lying in state while others waited for hours.
After keeping a low profile while not on This Morning, Holly posted on her Instagram stories today to congratulate her close pal Lisa Snowdon on winning Celebrity MasterChef.
Sharing Lisa’s post, she wrote: “ Congrats. Well done clever lady.”
Mum-of-three Holly is said to have been beside herself over the backlash she has received since visiting the Queen lying in state on Friday.
Members of the public were left furious as the TV hosts appeared to skip the long line, after some of them waited for up to 14 hours.

Holly called in lawyers and a source said: “She’s utterly devastated. It’s been an incredibly tough few days.”
On Tuesday’s show the two hosts addressed claims they were “too posh to queue” but stopped short of an apology.
Holly said: “It was strictly for reporting on the event for millions not able to visit in person.”
