Holly Willoughby ‘leaning on This Morning pal Alison Hammond’ amid queue-gate row
HOLLY Willoughby is said to be "leaning on" her This Morning co-star Alison Hammond as the queue-gate row rumbles on.
The presenter, 41, is thought to have sought comfort from TV pals Alison and Dermot O'Leary amid the backlash.
Holly and Phillip Schofield, 60, sailed past thousands of mourners waiting in line at Westminster Hall to see the Queen lying-in-state last Friday.
Her pal Piers Morgan revealed she'd been left absolutely "distraught" by the reaction from This Morning fans - sparking tens of thousands of comments online.
A source told : "Alison, Dermot, Phil and Holly are incredibly close and tight-knit.
"When things started to blow up over the weekend they were in touch straight away to offer their support.

"Alison, in particular, has spoken many times with Holly over the phone and been a real rock."
There has been a ";sense of shock and bewilderment at how things have blown up", the insider added.
On Tuesday’s show the two hosts addressed claims they were “too posh to queue” but stopped short of an apology.
Holly said: “It was strictly for reporting on the event for millions not able to visit in person.”

An online petition for This Morning to axe them has topped 66,000 signatures.
Over the last few days Holly has called in lawyers and been left in tears over claims she and Phil skipped the queue - despite not being able to film inside Westminster Hall.
The pair have remained on the air since Tuesday's explanation but have kept a low profile on social media.

Holly broke her silence last night by posting on her Instagram stories to congratulate her close pal Lisa Snowdon on winning Celebrity MasterChef.
Sharing Lisa’s post, she wrote: “ Congrats. Well done clever lady.”
