Bake Off in chaos as TWO stars drop out of this week’s show after falling ill
BAKE Off is in chaos in Bread Week after two stars were forced to pull out.
Budding Channel 4 cooks Rebs and Abdul were "a bit under the weather" for Bake Off's third episode of the current series, with the duo then given a free pass to next week.
Masters student Rebs has become the unlikely star of the series already - sparking romance rumours with co-star Sandro.
Meanwhile electronics engineer Abdul, 29, will also follow up his biscuit week bakes in week four.
Bake Off host Matt Lucas makes the big reveal tonight and tells contestants: "Both Rebs and Abdul are a bit under the weather this week, but with your permission, we thought we’d send them both straight through to the final."
Clarifying that his co-host's remarks were indeed a joke, fellow presenter Noel Fielding added: "Only joking, they’re going to miss a week and hopefully they’ll be back next week."

Neither contestant has scooped the coveted title of Star Baker as of yet.
Last week, fans slammed the show for one huge reason.
Viewers were less than impressed when chocolate was allowed to be used in the garibaldi biscuits during the challenge.
One tweeted: "#GBBO since when do you put chocolate on a garibaldi biscuit and it's only supposed to be currants not cranberries!! How dare they."

Meanwhile, County Antrim student Rebs uses baking as a way to unwind from the stress of a busy life in the tech world.
Yet fans are convinced she's enjoying something more during the series as, in a recent snap shared to Sandro's Twitter account, the reality stars posed for a selfie together while at the beach.
Sandro captioned the Tweet with a cat love heart eyes emoji face and her Twitter username.
Recently, Rebs also shared a saucy picture of her posing in Sandro's shirt while drinking a cup of tea.
Talking about her first reaction when she learned she’d bagged a place on Great British Bake Off, she told Channel 4: "I never ever actually dreamed I would get into the tent!

"I grew up watching the show for years with my mum and, after only really taking up baking in 2020.
"I wasn’t sure I would have had what it takes to make it to the final 12 (but thankfully I did!)."
