Strictly fans break down in tears as Ellie Simmonds becomes emotional after waltz
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have broken down in tears after Ellie Simmonds danced tonight.
The Paralympic heroine took to the stage with professional partner Nikita Kuzmin for a waltz, and it made viewers teary.
After their dance finished the pair hugged as they struggled to contain their emotions.
Judge Craig Revel Horwood told the former swimmer: “It was good Ellie, it really really was.
“I do think you need to lift out of your waist and lean into your chest to create that arch.
“It had flow darling, and I particularly loved the expression in your arms and hands. It was great.”

Motsi Mabuse added: “I just got the biggest goosebumps ever. It was so magical.
“You guys are just special, what can I say?”
Shirley Ballas told them both: “There is so much magic in something so simple, and that’s what you delivered today.
“I’m quite emotional. You showed people that we can all do what we love.”
Anton du Beke added: “It was lovely. You flowed beautifully. Congratulations, really lovely.”
And it wasn’t just the judges who were impressed, viewers were in tears.
One wrote: “Tears are streaming down my face after that from Ellie and Nikita. #Strictly”
