MAFS UK star April breaks her silence after ‘husband’ George is arrested for ‘emotional abuse’
MARRIED At First Sight UK star April Banbury has broken her silence after her on-screen "husband" George Roberts was arrested.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram stories to reveal she was heading out for dinner with her dad and a pal on Monday night.

Former Ms Great Britain April, 33, also shared throwback holiday snaps - where she was seen posing in a bandeau swimwear top and matching bottoms alongside two friends.
She pouted towards the camera as the women cosied up for a snap at swanky beachside bar Nikki Beach, as she wrote: "Take us back."
April then shared a clip of her delicious dinner with her dad - and former Olympian - Ian Banbury, as they clinked champagne glasses.
Breezing over George's arrest, she captioned the post with a large red heart and wrote: "Dinner with Daddy B."

It comes after it was revealed yesterday that her Married At First Sight "husband" had been arrested for "emotional abuse".
Police are investigating the 40-year-old over allegations of harassment and coercive control, the Met said last night.
It comes after The Sun told how three of his ex-girlfriends had raised concerns after spotting him on a trailer for the series.
Other women have now come forward and raised their own concerns, one source has claimed, while George continues to deny wrongdoing.

The Met Police said: “A 40-year-old man was arrested in Worcestershire on Thursday, September 29, on suspicion of controlling and coercive behaviour.
"He was taken to a police station and bailed pending further enquiries.”
The decision by show bosses to continue with the programme, which airs weeknights, raised eyebrows with the women involved.
A source close to her told The Sun: “April is having a very difficult time at the moment. She doesn’t want to ever see him again.”
Another insider explained: “This has been rumbling on for a while but now the police are involved, so many involved in the show thought surely they would have to pull it off air — or at the very least re-edit it.
“This has become a nightmare for the network, who didn’t know about allegations in his past before.”
April hinted online last weekend that the relationship was now over, as she admitted she was "seeing a therapist".

She wrote: “The traumas that have been brought on from this show have made me re-evaluate things. I’m not ashamed to admit, I’ve been seeing a therapist.”
Charity Women’s Aid said the entertainment industry should send a clear message that any allegation of domestic abuse must be thoroughly investigated. Channel 4 did not comment.
